Ketbit Il Kitab was preformed at Heba's house on Friday April 2, 2004. This event is the official marriage contract signing under Islam. Heba's grandfather and Adel's father held hand in hand while the Shiekh asked them to repeat after him. Both the parents of the bride and groom were present along with a Shiekh. Two of Heba's uncles, Fahmi and Ghasan, were the two witnesses that signed the contract.
